Through this on-going commitment, MB Aerospace ensures that it can meet the demands of the high-tech aerospace manufacturing industry, as well as providing its employees with challenging and rewarding careers

The company has ongoing programs of investment in the technical, engineering and commercial skills of our existing team. Across the group we also recruit 20-30 apprentices each year and offer training positions across a range of disciplines, including manufacturing, welding, engineering, quality and production planning.

Each of our business units has partnered with local universities, colleges and training schools to offer structured, accredited learning.

For candidates who have excelled through these training programs we offer the opportunity of employment once the apprenticeship has been completed, typically after an in-depth 3-4 year program. Training routes for potential applicants are:

MB Aerospace Newton Abbot is proud to be a key participant for the South Devon University Technical College which opened in September 2015.

Along with other industrial partners including SW Water, Linden Homes, Centrax Industries and the Federation of Small Businesses we are excited to lead local participation in this new education opportunity.

The UTC is a great way of developing the engineering and operational talent that we need to fulfil our skills requirement as we continue to build an innovative industrial and engineering-led business in Devon, UK.

The program encourages participants to develop an interest in a technically focused career at an early age and provides training to gain valuable work experience whilst studying and help go on to build a successful and rewarding career.
