We are currently seeking housekeeping associates to join our busy manufacturing engineering firm. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining our offices, factory and canteen.
Task:
• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and moping surfaces in the work area, toilets, kitchens and meeting rooms
• Refilling cleaning supplies and toiletries (Handwash, toilet paper and air fresheners)
• Washing kitchen napkins, floor rags and dusters
• Maintaining cleaning products in a timely manner
• Disposing on refuse (on site)
• Conducting monthly disinfecting and deep cleaning

Job Description
To provide an Occupational Health Surveillance Service in accordance with the company’s obligations under Health & Safety Legislation, and which is proactive in minimising risk to employees’ health associated with the company’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct routine health surveillance of workers exposed to specific occupational risks in accordance with best practice advice and Health & Safety Policy:
o COSHH
o Audiometry
o Spirometry
o HAVs (tier 1 & tier 2)
o Skin assessments
o Breathing checks
o Lung function tests
o Fork-Lift Truck medicals
o Hearing tests
o Maternity assessments
o DSE Workstation Assessments.
• Conduct eye tests and VDU Eye Tests in line with Health & Safety policy.
• Implement and support health and wellbeing programmes and activities across the business.
• Support managers in conducting employee risk assessments for health-related matters.
• Management of First Aiders including:
o Ensure sufficient First Aiders are trained to provide cover.
o Maintain rotas to cover day and night shifts.
o Ensure that First Aid bags are maintained.
o Order and maintain First Aid and resuscitation equipment around site.
• Provide accurate written, electronic, and verbal reports always observing confidentiality and in accordance with GDPR.
• Ensuring all medical information is accurately recorded.
• Ensuring all equipment is serviceable, clean, and fit for purpose.
Job Requirements
• Experience working in a health care or occupational health setting
• Willing to develop clinical skills relevant to the role

• Be IT literate
• Prioritise workload and have good time management skills

In addition, experience of the following would be helpful:
• Registered as a Registered General Nurse on part 1 of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or a qualified Midwife registered on part 2 of the NMC
• Completion of an approved programme in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing - Occupational Health Nursing (SCPHN - OHN) would be desirable. The business can also support training in this area
• Working in accident and emergency nursing, practice nursing, or both
• Public health, infection control
• Counselling, psychological health
• Learning about relevant legislation

Job Description
To provide an Occupational Health Service which meets the company’s obligations under Health & Safety Legislation, and which is proactive in minimising risk to employees’ health associated with the company’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Pre-Employment and Transfer Medicals. Conduct baseline medical. Assess whether candidates are fit for the proposed job and advise line management accordingly. Advise line management on reasonable adjustments associated with the company’s responsibilities under the Equality Act.
• Health Surveillance. Conduct routine health surveillance of workers exposed to specific occupational risks in accordance with best practice advice and Health & Safety Policy:

• Eye Tests & VDU Eye Tests. Conduct eye tests in line with Health & Safety policy.
• Management Referrals. Conduct assessments of employees who have been referred as part of the management referral process. Advise Line Management and HR accordingly in respect of recommended adjustments, fitness for work and phased return to work plans. Arrange further appointments for follow up reviews as required.
• Sickness Absence Case Management provide advice and recommendations to the business in respect of fitness for work, recommended adjustments, and phased return to work plans.
• Fit for Work Assessments Conduct fitness for work assessments and advise business accordingly.
• Risk Assessments. Provide medical input into risk assessments.
• Advice. In partnership with HSE team, provide advice on new products and processes to be introduced to ensure that risks to health are eliminated or minimised.
• Health and Wellbeing Design. Implement and support health and wellbeing programmes and activities across the business.
• Management of First Aiders Including:
o Ensure sufficient First Aiders are trained to provide cover.

Job Description
To be trained to operate and inspect work from 3 or more machines for the manufacture of aero engine components.
This position is based at our Newton Abbot, UK facility and will report to the Cell Shift Leader.
Key Responsibilities
• Clean and load components in fixtures
• Work to appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company procedures
• Liaise with Inspection to check first off before starting full batch run
• Use appropriate hand tools
• Visually Inspect and measure components to ensure compliance with specification
• Complete production records
• Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition, report any problems to cell supervision
Job Requirements
• Meeting daily production targets whilst maintaining quality standards
• Ability to work a range of shifts
